Overview
The Product Manager is your central catalog for every piece of gear you want to promote. Add a product once and reuse it everywhere. Standalone product pages, profile plugins, and referral links. Added without re-entering the details each time.

Creating a Product
- Go to dashboard.proangler.com and click Products in the nav bar
- Click Add Product
- Optionally use the AI Product Assistant to pre-fill details from a product name
- Upload a product image or select one from My Images
- Fill in the product details (title, description, category, pricing, manufacturer, retailer)
- Set a Product Slug and it becomes the URL for the product's public page
- Click Create Product
Your product is saved to your catalog immediately but is initially inactive.
Managing Your Products
Go to Products in your dashboard navigation to see your full catalog. From here you can:
- See each product's image, title, category, slug, price, and last updated date
- Edit any product (changes save automatically)
- Toggle a product active or inactive
- Add product to a referral slug (adds to a referral link)
- Delete a product from your catalog
Product Details

| Referral URL | Your affiliate or referral link. This is where followers go when they click on the product. |

| Retailer | Where to buy and the retailer's website |
| Retail Price | MSRP or list price |
| Display Price | The price shown to your audience (can differ from retail) |
| Product Image | Primary image shown in plugin cards and on the product page |
| Product Slug | URL-friendly identifier for the product's public page |
Active vs. Inactive
Each product has an active/inactive toggle in the edit modal.
- Active — the product is visible on your profile and eligible to appear in plugins
- Inactive — the product is hidden from your profile but remains in your catalog
Free plan members can have up to 12 active products at a time, Pro members up to 50. Deactivating products you're not currently promoting frees up active slots for others.
Product Slug vs. Referral Slug
There are two types of slugs in the product system and it's important to understand how they work together.
Product Slug
The product slug is set when you create a product and automatically generates a public product page:
proangler.com/{your-handle}/{product-slug}The slug is auto-generated from the manufacturer name. Edit as needed before saving. You can share this URL directly with followers and they'll land on your product page. However, product page visits are not tracked and do not generate rewards for you or your followers.
Referral Slug
A referral slug connects your product to the referral system. Referral slugs are managed from the product edit modal under Referral Slugs, or directly in the Referral editor in the dashboard.
When a product has a referral slug, sharing the referral link looks like this:
r4n.me/{your-handle}/{referral-slug}It routes followers through the referral system before landing on your product page. Traffic through referral links is tracked and may generate rewards for you and your followers.

Use your product page URL for general sharing. Use your referral link whenever you want traffic tracked and rewards earned.
Adding Products to Your Profile
Products in your catalog can be displayed on your profile through three plugins:
Featured Products
A grid of product cards. Best for highlighting your top picks or sponsor gear. Configure via the Featured Products plugin in your plugin editor.
Recommended Products
A vertical list layout for detailed recommendations. Each card shows the image, retailer, title, price, and description. Configure via the Recommended Products plugin.
Videos + Products
Pair products with specific videos. Each video in the plugin can have its own associated product list. This is ideal for gear demos and how-to content. Configure via the Videos + Products plugin.
In each plugin editor you can:
- Select products directly from your catalog
- Override individual fields (title, price, image, URL) without changing your catalog
- Sync overridden fields back to your catalog with one click if you've updated the product
AI Product Assistant
When creating a product, enter a product name or description in the AI Product Assistant panel and click Suggest. The AI will attempt to pre-fill:
- Title, description, category, and sub-category
- Manufacturer name and website
- Retailer name and website
- Retail and display price
- Product slug (from the manufacturer name)
Review all AI-filled fields before saving. AI suggestions are a starting point and are not guaranteed to be accurate. Fields filled by AI are marked with a ✦ AI badge so you know what to double-check.

My Images
When uploading a product image, you can choose between:
- Upload New — upload a new image from your device (PNG, JPG, GIF, WebP, max 5 MB)
- My Images — select a previously uploaded image from your media library
Images you upload for products are stored in your Media Manager and can be reused across products and plugins.
Referral Links
Products can be connected to referral slugs managed in the Referral section of your dashboard. Once a product has a slug, that slug URL routes visitors to the product's referral URL.
