3. Public vs. Protected Posts
3.1 Public Content (Default)
By default, your profile and the content you post on ProAngler are public. This means:
- Anyone - including people without a ProAngler account - can view your profile, posts, and media.
- Your content may be indexed by search engines and appear in external search results.
- Your content may be shared, embedded, or linked to by other users or third-party sites.
3.2 Protected / Private Content
You may limit the visibility of your content through your account privacy settings. When you restrict visibility:
- Your posts will only be visible to your approved followers.
- Your content will not be surfaced in public search results or indexable by external search engines.
- New follow requests must be manually approved before followers can view your content.
No social media platform can guarantee absolute privacy. Even protected content may be seen by approved followers, shared through screenshots, or accessed in the event of a data security incident. Please post only what you are comfortable sharing under those conditions.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:
4.1 Service Providers
We share data with trusted third-party vendors who assist us in operating the Service, including hosting providers, payment processors, email delivery services, analytics platforms, and customer support tools. These providers are contractually required to use your data only as directed by us.
4.2 Advertisers and Analytics Partners
We may share aggregated or pseudonymized usage data with third-party advertisers and analytics partners to help them measure the effectiveness of advertising and improve ad targeting on the platform. We do not share your name, email address, or other directly identifying information with advertisers without your consent.
4.3 Other Users
Information you include on your public profile - such as your handle, bio, and posts - is visible to other users and the general public as described in Section 3.
4.4 Legal and Safety

- Certain data may be retained for a limited period for legal compliance, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution purposes.
- Backups may persist for up to 90 days before being purged.
7. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These include encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), secure credential storage, and access controls.
No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we work hard to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach that affects your rights, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
