Deactivating Your Account

How to deactivate your ProAngler account and what happens to your data.

Deactivating Your Account

If you need to step away from ProAngler, you can deactivate your account at any time from your Account Settings. Deactivation is not permanent — you have 45 days to change your mind before your account is archived.

What Happens When You Deactivate

  • Your profile is immediately hidden from public view
  • Your handle is reserved — no one else can claim it
  • Any active paid subscription is cancelled immediately
  • You will receive a confirmation email with a reactivation link

The 45-Day Window

After deactivating, your account enters a 45-day grace period. During this time:

  • All of your content, products, and settings are preserved
  • You can reactivate at any time using the link in your email
  • On day 40 you will receive a final warning email before your account is permanently archived

Reactivating Your Account

Click the Reactivate My Account button in either of the emails sent to you. You will be taken to a confirmation page and your account will be restored immediately.

Note: If you had a paid subscription, it was cancelled when you deactivated. You will need to resubscribe after reactivating.

Permanent Archive

If you do not reactivate within 45 days, your account is permanently archived. At that point:

  • Your profile data is removed
  • Your handle is no longer accessible
  • This action cannot be undone

How to Deactivate

  1. Go to Dashboard → Settings → Account
  2. Scroll to the Danger Zone section
  3. Click Deactivate Account
  4. Confirm the action

You will be logged out and a confirmation email will be sent to your registered email address.
